The following auction will be held for the purpose of satisfying a Landlord’s lien on the contents of self-storage rooms. You can save yourself time and gas by calling the storage facility the afternoon prior to the auction to confirm auction, as settlement my be made between owner and obligated party.
Public Auction
Notice is hereby given that on February 12, 2009, Thomas Hayward Auctioneers as the Executive Administrator for the U-Haul Company of Sacramento, will be offering for sale under the Judicial Lien process by public auction the following storage units. The goods to be sold are generally described as household goods.
The Auction will be held at or around 8:00 AM at the U-Haul Center of Carson City located at 1498 East Williams, Carson City, NV 89701.

Auction Terms
All bidders are required to register and provide identification. Successful bidders are to settle by cash only! in U. S. Currency at the conclusion of the auction. Checks and credit cards will not be accepted under any circumstances. No buyer’s premium will apply. Sales tax will be added unless bidder provides an unrevoked Nevada resale certificate and complete a resale card. Purchaser has 24 hours for removal of purchased units. Contents of storage units are sold in bulk lot by the unit. Removal of goods is permitted only during posted office hours. Excluded in the sale of the units are Firearms, Urns containing cremated remains and Vehicles (Including motorcycles, dirt bikes or any other DMV vehicles). The successful bidder must sign acknowledgement of bid and provide name address, phone number, driver’s license and State of issuance must be indicated on Certification of Public Sale form. All goods are sold “as is/where is” no warranties expressed or implied. Bidders are not allowed into the storage units or allowed to touch any of the property. You are required to provide your own padlock to secure unit at time of sale. Purchaser is responsible for the removal of all contents and to leave the unit broom-swept. The use of the storage facility dumpsters is prohibited. Purchaser may not resale the goods on the facility property. Persons attending the auction and/or during the removal of the goods from the premises assume all risk of both personal property from liability. Therefore neither the Auctioneer, Auction Company nor its principal shall be liable by reason of a defect in or the condition of the premises on which the auction is held. Auctioneer reserves the right to revoke the bidding privileges of any bidder, refuse a bid the is merely a fractional advance over preceding bid and cancel the sale anytime prior to having said sold. Management and owners reserve the right to bid. Any violation of the above terms may result in bidders barred from future sales.
